Corneria was a peaceful planet, inhabited by peaceful people. Among these people was a brilliant scientist named Andross. He had had pure intentions, and lived for researching bio-technology and researching life on other planets. Thanks to him, Corneria had created many bases and fleets on other planets and sectors. They had almost every other planet, except a planet called Venom.

There was Acid Rain in its atmosphere that prevented entry, which made Andross frustrated. He worked days and weeks to create a bio-technological machine which he called Goras to penetrate the Acid Rain and allow entry. General Pepper did not allow this, however, in fear that it could harm other planets or make things on Venom worse, which made Andross even more mad.

Andross: But this is an OUTRAGE! If we want Venom, then we MUST use Goras to get through that acid rain!

Pepper: I will NOT allow it! No way will we put Corneria's life at risk for research.

Andross: Goras is the perfect bio-weapon! No problems will erupt, I assure you!

Pepper: Thats enough, Andross. I have made my decision. Goras will be forever locked up and not allowed in public.

Andross: But...General...

Pepper: I SAID ENOUGH!

Later that day, Andross was in his lab, working with his assistants Gawz and Meze. They were working on improvements in Goras' design.

Andross: They..will NOT deny me my right as a scientist, they will NOT!

Gawz: Dr. Andross, what will happen if we fail and Goras can't do as much as we hoped?

Meze: Yes, Doctor, this new design is very complicated. I'm not sure we could...

Andross: Lets put it this way, if it doesn't work, you will suffer the same fate IT will.

Gawz: .........y-yes sir....

Andross: Pepper thinks he is so big and bad. Well...well he will pay. When Goras is finished, they will all see. GAWZ, MEZE!

Gawz/Meze: YES SIR

Andross: Send out private messages to all our friends through the Lylat System. Tell them our time is coming. Tell them....the Age of the Apes as come.

Andross had many primates across Lylat. They were normally slaves to the other people of those planets, even though they were a great bit smarter. They always looked to Andross as their leader, as he had a higher up position in the Cornerian Army. There was an ape/monkey on every planet. Other species on those planets used their intelligence for their own selfish desires. Corneria had more than one ape, though, as it was the busiest of all the planets. Coerneria had Andross, Gran who was constructing a robotic machine of his won, and Mawto, who was a good flier.

Living on Fortuna was Gonchy, who was constructing weapons for Corneria, who also happens to be Andross' best friend. Working on Katina was Sarge, who was making battle suites for elite Cornerian soldiers located at Sector Y. Macbeth was a solar-type planet used for transportation. There were advanced land forms there that were resistant to lava. Here, an ape named McBeth worked as an engineer, fixing mechanical equipment if anything went wrong with it. Zoness was a beautiful ocean-themed planet where people vacationed. This planet was inhabited by Marty, who also worked as a mechanic. They were all well known apes who had their own primate assistants. All the apes of Lylat were in contact. And when they got the message for Andross about the day of the apes, they knew their time was coming. they had a meeting on Katina.

Andross: I want to thank you ll for coming. I also want to than Sarge for organizing this meeting for us.

Sarge: Anything for my friends. Now lets get down to business.

Gonchy: Lylat is becoming more populated. The primates of the system are working harder than ever, and what do we get in return?

Gran: Nothing. They do nothing for us except provide us shelter. We don't even get paid for all this. We can thank Andross for the wealth we all have.

Mawto: damn Cornerians. They always make me test fly they're latest flight ships, but they NEVER let me keep any or make any of my own. Its so stupid!

McBeth: I agree with Mawto. I've never even gotten to ride on the supply train on Macbeth!

Marty: I've always wanted to own a pirate ship and have a crew of pirates. I just want to live my own life...but NO. the people of those planets just use us for their own selfish desires.

Andross: Well....no more. I'm making a bio-weapon that will take out General Pepper. then Lylat will be ours.

Gran: I am also working on a battle suite, called Granga, that will be a great threat to Corneria.

Andross: So, does anyone else have any secret weapons?

Gonchy: I'm working on a battle machine called Crusher.

Marty: I'm building a battle submarine called Sarumarine.

Sarge: I have already built a battle suite that I plan to use against Corneria when the time comes.

Andross: Good. We all have some surprises...except you, Mawto. What are you planning?

Mawto: The Cornerian Army has an air craft known as the Attack Carrier that i plan to steal. I designed it and it is fitted with all the best weapons.

Andross: Excellent. Our take over will commence tomorrow. The Day of the Apes is upon us. Meeting dismissed.

A soldier from Katina is seen talking with General Pepper with Mawto right outside the door.

General Pepper: So, they're planning an ambush?

Soldier: Yes sir. I over heard them talking about this. They said tomorrow, they're gonna rebel and take over Lylat.

General Pepper: And Andross is leading this assault? Hmph, well I can take care of that problem easily. I'll just arrest Andross.

Mawto was eavesdropping on theme and went to tell Andross what he heard.

Andross: NO no they cannot do this. the day of the apes is here. *sigh* Theres...no other options...I have to do it! Gawz, Meze!

Gawz: Yes sir?

Andross: Unleash Goras!

Meze: But sir! Its not ready yet! Hes just not ready!

Andross: I don't care! Set him to go to Corneria City, tell him to kill as many people as possible, NOW!

Meze: Uh! YES SIR!

Meze and Gawz go to activate Goras and set him up coordinates to go. Andross got inside an aire ship to go watch the destruction.

Mawto ran back to the army base to get the Attack Carrier, but Soldiers there arrested him. They were ordered by General Pepper to arrest Mawto, Gran, Andross, Gawz, and Meze. Gran ran into the mountains before they could get to him, taking his experiment with him. Soldiers were gonna go look for them, but before they could, there was an attack on Corneria City. Goras was unleashed.

Andross: You will all pay! Thanks to General Pepper, you're all gonna die!

General Pepper arrived at the scene with some elite soldiers.

Pepper: Andross! How could you do this?

Andross: Pepper, the time has come. We apes shall rule everything now. Goras is unstoppable.

Pepper: Soldiers! Attack the monster! Bring him down!

Andross: Theres no way you can destroy him. He has very strong armor. You're gunfire is usless!

Goras was on a rampage, destroying everything it saw, killing thousands of people. Finally, the Cornerian army used a strong vessel to knock it on its side. It landed in the ocean and backfired. The Machine exploded, destroying half of Corneria City and causing a small "dent" in the planet.

Andross: .....damn it. I... I have failed.

Pepper: Now! Shoot down Andross and arrest him!

Cornerian army shot down Andross' ship and then arrested him, then took him into the army base.

Pepper: andross, you have caused enough trouble for Corneria. you are hereby exiled from Corneria.

Andross: Am I...

Pepper: However. This shouldn't be too much of a punishment for you, as you will finally be able to do what you've wanted to do from the start!

Andross: What do you mean?

Pepper: your being sent to Venom, Andross.

Well, it is a prequel. And done certainly in your own...unique...style, there Andross. Still, it's another fanfic, and a StarFox one at that. I certainly can't complain. But the addition of the Boss characters makes me think that I need to add a guide to the bosses section in the guide to SF Fanfics. What do you think, readers without SF background?

Andross was exiled to Venom the very next day, while the rest of his friends were arrested and held in custody on their respective planets. Andross was sent to Venom with his now broken machine Goras. Instead of going to Venom, though, he instead went to the closest planet, Titania, a decolent planet. Here, Andross began to plan his revenge.

Andross: The fools. They will ALL pay for this. I'm going to kill all of them.

Gawz: Um, Dr. Andross, I think that first we should figure out how to get off this planet.

Andross: Yes, i suppose so.

Andross looks around and sees a couple of abandoned buildings and machine parts.

Andross: From the looks of things, this planet was once an advanced planet. I never even knew about it. Looks like were awfully close to Venom, though.

Venom can be seen in the Planet's sky, as if it were a moon.

Meze: Dr. Andross! Come see! Its Goras!

Andross: What is it?

Meze: Goras is still working! But barely.

Gawz: Perhaps we can use pieces of equipment around this planet to repair it!

Andross: Great idea, Gawz! Get to work! Bring me peices to work with, and I'll see what I can do.

So Gawz and Meze went around the planet, picking up working parts of different machines for Andross to use. andross eventually finished repairing Goras, equipping him with new parts, allowing him to fly.

Meze: He has wings? Why is this, doctor?

Andross: So I can go into Space, of course.

Gawz: Oh, do you intend to fly back to Corneria and have your revenge?

Andross: No....no thats just what they'll expect. I have a better idea.

So Andross took Goras into space and went straight to Venom. Right outside Vrnom was an old abandoned Satellite that had broken parts orbiting around it. Andross decided that it was possible for him to use parts of this satellite to build a machine to allow entry to Venom. He went to work immediately.He got back to Titania and began building a machine.

Gawz: What is this machine for anyway?

Meze: Is it gonna help us get revenge?

Andross: Yes...somewhat. This machine will help us enter Venom. I know that theres something there that can help us.

Meze: How is it gonna allow entry into Venom?

Andross: This machine can neutralize the acid rain in Venom's atmosphere. It will be easy to enter after that.

Andross finished the machine and activated it, causing it to send a blast of light out into space, hitting Venom's surface and clearing the acid rain.

Andross: Whoah....woah.....i feel funny.

Gawz: Hey hey shut up stupid we need to go!

Meze: hehehe you said "stupid"

Andross: Did the atmosphere of this story get...funnier?

Gawz: Well it certainly feels funnier.

Andross: This is just weird. Maybe someone on Venom will know the answer.

So Andross took Goras into space, landing it on Venom's surface. He was surprised to find out that Venom actually did have life.

Andross: This is incredible! A whole new race! They have been on Venom the whole time!

Anglar: Who...who are you?

Andross: WHAT are you? What is the name of your race?

Anglar: We...are the Anglars. We live on this planet, and have lived here for years now. We could never leave because the acid rain stuck in the atmosphere was too strong.

Andross: So could you and your people possibly of assistance to me?

Anglar: Umm, sure. What is it you need?

Andross: I am Andross. I am a brilliant Scientist from Corneria. They exiled me here after I built Goras and I want me revenge!

Anglar: Corneria? I've heard of it. You used to live there? AND you were a smart scientist? Interesting.

Andross: Yes, and I need your help to get my revenge.

Anglar: Of course. We have an excellent army. All are trained by Anglarian experts.

Andross: Good. We can now begin creating an army.....

Anglar: Theres...another ship coming in. Who all did your bring?

Andross: I don't know who... wait. I think I have an idea who it could be.

The ship that crash landed on Venom had none other than McBeth from Macbeth. He too had been exiled to Venom. Marty from Zoness followed soon after.

Andross: Friends! You have arrived.

Marty: Andross! So this is Venom. Why are there Lizards everywhere?

Andross: they are the Anglar race. They live on Venom.

McBeth: Impossible!  Venom had acid rain around it! How could WE have gotten in?

Andross: Well they've lived here forever, and I neutralized the acid rain with a machine on Titania. I am building an army. I know you'll be of assistance.

McBeth: Of course.

Marty: Yes i think I can. I just need my submarine thats back on Zoness.

Andross: We will get it soon, my friend, but first we must wait for our other friends,

So Almost all of the other members of the ape team came. All except Gran and Mawto, who were hiding out on Corneria in the mountains. Mawto had escaped from Jail the day Andross was sent to Venom and found Gran hiding. They were both waiting for the word from Andross. Meanwhile, Sarge and Gronchy soon came after. They had all been banished from their planets and exiled to Venom.

Andross: Well, now that all of us are together again we can begin building our army. First I want that satellite out there fixed.

Anglar Emperor: You mean Bolse? I would've that that satellite was long gone by now!

Andross: So it has a name. What was it good for?

Anglar Emperor: Well it served as a contact for any Anglarians in space or on other planets. After the acid rain came though, the connection was lost.

McBeth: Well we can rebuild that easily. What I'm worried about is the scum on Macbeth. Do you have any kind of weapons of destruction to dump on them?

Andross: Well Gawz and Meze have been working ona powerful Bio weapon called "Vulcain". If it gets finished I can put it there. Its good because Vulcain can only live on heated places.

McBeth: Excellent. The extremely high temperatures of Macbeth shall do quite nicely.

Andross: Alright then. Since there are many ships here now, I can take Goras back to Titania. I'll let it guard the neutralizer there.

Sarge: Excellent idea, and I'll get to work on those battle suites I'm been working on.

Gronchy: Where are Mawto and Gran?

Andross: they are still on Corneria. They're hiding out waiting for the signal.

McBeth: Is the Vulcain ready yet?

Meze: Yes, its complete. Its ready to be taken away.

Andross: Excellent. We will put him on Macbeth. Also, destroy any satellites you find around Macbeth, to cut the connection between it and other planets.

Gawz: Will do, sir.

McBeth: I will go with you. This will be interesting.

So Gawz, Meze, and McBeth went to Macbeth with Vulcain 1.0 while Andross went with Marty, Gronchy, and some Anglarians to rebuild Bolse. Vulcain immediately cleared Macbeth of all life and made it a home. Andross decided to keep it there for further experimentation. With Bolse complete, they were now back with electrical power on Venom, and Andross had another idea.

Andross: I have another idea. How about we make a defense fleet on the other side of Venom. Gawz and Meze have been working on alot of defense-type machines, we could use those to strengthen our defenses.

Marty: What about MY submarine on Zoness? I need it.

Andross: We will attack the other planets soon, do not worry, but first we need to set up defenses.

Marty: Fine.

Andross: We need a plan. We need to figure where were gonna put up each defense unit and what kind of air ships are gonna be there.

Just as andross was saying this, McBeth, Gawz, and Meze had arrived from Macbeth.

Andross: Gawz, Meze! We need you guys to begin working on defensive ships. We're creating a defense fleet.

Gawz: Oooh excellent! I love working on defense machines! Lets do it, Meze.

Meze: Right behind you Gawz!

they left to go work on the defensive weapons, and had some Anglarians help them.

Andross: Just you wait, Lylat. Soon, you will be mine.

======================5 Years Later=====================

Andross: Sooooooooooo whats up McBeth?

McBeth: Weeeeeeell we have finished the Defense Fleet outside Venom aaaaaaaand we are currently enhancing how Bolse works.

Andross: FABULOUS!

McBeth: Ok, we need to not act gay.

Andross: Right, so where are the others?

McBeth: Well Marty went to Zoness to enhance his submarine, Sarge is hiding out on Katina building his fleet and working on those suit things, Mawto is here just relaxing, Gran is still on Corneria in the mountains, and Gonchy is on Fortuna working on his Crusher thing.

Andross: Tell Mawto to get off his lazy ass and get to Corneria. We need him there encase we decide to attack early.

Meze: Andross! Theres some Cornerians at Sector X heading for Titania! Goras and the neutralizer are there, sir!

Andross: We need not worry, Meze, for I have a great number of soldiers at my disposal. McBeth! Send a fleet to Sector X and take them out. Keep Titania safe, understood?

McBeth: Yes sir!

So McBeth gathered some soldiers and made a fleet, sending it to Sector X, where is proceeded to take out many Cornerian ships. Andross decided to take this opportunity by unleashing an unnamed machine there to take out the base. General Pepper was informed of this, and sent the Star Fox team, headed by James McCloud, to take out the machine.

James: Peppy, do you have the location?

Peppy: Yes sir, its right in front of you.

James: Holy fuck, let take it out!

Pigma: This machine is NOTHING compared to the three of us!

So Star Fox proceeded to take out the machine, and soon received a message from Pepper.

Pepper: Star fox! There are strange activities coming from Venom! We believe this to be the work of Andross, and insane Scientist i sent there. Please go investigate!

So Star fox went to Venom, only to be sent down to Macbeth first. Here, Star Fox encountered Vulcain 1.0. The team defeated the bio-weapon with ease, and proceeded to Venom.

Pigma: I got to take a leak, be right back!

Peppy: Pigma, what the hell? We got to take out the giant army coming at us!

Pigma: Well I can't work full of pee!

James: Just go, Pigma, we'll cover you.

Pigma: Thanks, bud!

So Pigma ran off to take a piss, but was sidetracked by McBeth.

Pigma: You! You're one of those filthy apes!

McBeth: Listen here, porky, Andross has a deal for you. If you turn over your teammates, he will pay you a large sum of money.

Pigma: ... how much money are we talking here?

McBeth: However much you want.

Pigma: ...its a deal. Later... uhh...

McBeth: Its McBeth, Pigma.

Pigma: Later, McBeth! HAHAHA!

Pigma went back to his arwing and joined the others. They were flying through Venom, and a swarm of soldiers came at them. Pig ma took this opportunity to shoot down James and Peppy. Peppy escaped the last second, but James was still down.

Peppy: Pigma, you traitor, what the hell?

Pigma: Sorry, peppy ole' pal, but I'm getting paid alot of money for this!

Peppy: You'll be sorry.

Pigma: Whatever!

Peppy flies off back to Corneria

James: Pigma, please don't do this, you know this is wrong!

Pigma: Yeah, well I don't care either! I'm getting MONEY!

James: I hope one day my son will take you out.

Pigma: That little crybaby? Heh, you' have better luck hoping for Peppy to take me down.

McBeth came up with a large laser beam gun, aiming it right at James' head.

Pigma: Well this is it, McCloud. Its been nice knowing ya,

McBeth: I'm gonna enjoy this, James. I really am.

James: Pigma.... McBeth... Andross... if you do this... eventually... justice will be served...!

McBeth: Whatever!

Pigma: Goodnight.

James: AHHHHH!!

McBeth shot James with the beam, and with a scream, James was incinerated.

McBeth: Congrats, Pigma, you're on our side. I'll see if I can get you associated with Andross immediately.

Peppy was just arriving at Corneria. Pepper saw that he was alone, and became very worried.

Pepper: Peppy, what happened?

Peppy: Pigma...he betrayed us. James didn't make it. I barely escaped.

Pepper: Pigma... he is the end for all of us. Theres no one else that can save us from their team.

Peppy: Don't say that. Fox is in training right now right? We can get help from him and possibly even some other pilots out there!

Pepper: Its slim, but there is a chance it could work. Go now, and find Fox.

A few week later, Peppy had told Fox about his father's demise, and urged him to create a new team. Fox decided to do so, enlisting the help of a friend, Slippy, who was a good mechanic. Peppy decided he would also join the team, and they thought they were set. Until one day, a group of people from Zoness were evacuated to Corneria because Zoness had been attacked by Marty.

Pepper: Ok ok calm down, your home is under attack, but I assure you there are soldiers there that will fight back.

Zoness citizen: My house was DESTROYED by a few ships there, and alot of people have been killed!

Pepper: I understand. Listen, there is currently a team of highly skilled pilots here on Corneria ready to go fight for your people. Is anyone interested in helping?

In the crowd, a blue wing went up. The figure walked to the front of the cloud, revealing itself to be a blue bird.

Falco: I'll help. My name is Falco Lombardi, I'm a skilled pilot.

Pepper: Thank you, lad. Star fox is currently on the Great Fox somewhere near the Asteroid Belt. Go there and tell them you'll join.

Falco: Got it.

So Falco went to the Great fox, met with the other members, showed off his skills as a pilot, and was permitted into the team.

Andross: So Macbeth had been completely dried up, right?

McBeth: Yes sir, we've built buildings and have stored many weaponry and machine parts there.

Andross: Good, stay here and await further orders. Marty has already taken control of Zoness, and Gonchy planted a time bomb in Fortuna's base. He also sent soldiers into the asteroid belt to cut any connection between Corneria and Fortuna.

Kamen: Sir, are you ready to go to Sector X to experiment?

Andross: Ahh, Kamen. Yes I would like to test some of my experiments on the base there.

Kamen: Alright sir.

Gawz: Andross, we haven't seen Sarge or Mawto, and we haven't heard from Gran at all!

Andross: Gran is in the mountains, awaiting my orders to activate Granga. Mawto is hiding underground, waiting for my orders as well. And Sarge is at Sector Y with his mech bots and battle suit, awaiting orders.

Kamen: And what do you intend to do at Sector Z?

Andross: I have no concern for Sector Z. That place had been abandoned for as long as I can remember.

Kamen: Well, its time to go sir.

Andross: Ok. Gawz, Meze. You two stay here and look after things. I'll be back in a little while.

Gawz: Yes sir.

Andross went to Sector X in order to perform some tests. When he arrived, he unleashed a few mech bots and they destroyed alot of the base there. He then unleashed his most powerful prototype, Spyborg, and it caused the most damage. It began to get unstable, though, and began destroy Venomian ships, asking for its "creator". Andross decided to leave it here, and went on to Solar to Set loose the improved Vulcain 2.0. The army had created a flying saucer, Saucerer, to help them. He decided to send it to Katina to destroy the base. He also went to Aquas to experiment on the sea creatures there. He performed a large experiment on a clam there, and mutated it into a monster, which he named Bacoon. The chemicals from the experiment leaked trough out Aquas, making the other sea creatures hostile. He quickly checked with Sarge to make sure everything was in order there, then went back to Venom.

Gawz: Sir.... something happened. A new Star fox team was made.

Andross: Star Fox? Who made it?

Gawz: James' son, Fox. He and Peppy made a new team.

Andross: Well not to worry. We can handle them.

Meze: I don't know, Doctor. the last team was a handful. If it hadn't been for Pigma...

Andross: Pigma... thats it! Enlist Star Wolf to help us out.

Gawz: Thats an excellent idea, sir!

Meze: I'll... call them right away.

Gawz and Meze leave. Kamen and another commander, Donny, came up to Andross.

Kamen: Sir, we think its time to attack Corneria now.

Donny: We've pretty much got everything under control, Corneria's the last free planet in the System.

Andross: You're right. I'll call Mawto right away.

So Andross called Mawto up, telling him it was time to take over Corneria. Mawto was thrilled about this. He hadn't seen action in years. He immediately called Gran.

Mawto: Gran! Its time! We need to take over Corneria!

Gran: Oh thank goodness. I haven't been in this story for a while, and I'm finally back in it!

Mawto: Get your power suit ready. We're to attack Corneria immediately.

Gran: Got it.

Gran and Mawto both prepared themselves. Gran got in his mech suit and took out all the civilization on the Northern part of the planet, but realized his couldn't go over the ocean to the other side. He sent out troops in their own suits to destroy the main part of Corneria, Corneria City. Meanwhile, Mawto broke into the base and stole the Attack Carrier, killing many Cornerian troops in the process. Pepper immediately called for Star Fox to come and rescue them. Sarge sent many troops into the base at Sector Y and took it over, bringing in many Venomian flag ships. Bill,one of Fox's old friends, was called to Katina to protect it from Venomian troops.

Fox and his team arrived at Corneria. As they flew through the city, Mawto was preparing to take off from the supply building, and was held up by General Pepper.

Mawto: Back off, General. I'll take you down!

Pepper: Hold on, Mawto, hold on. I have to tell you something.

Mawto: What?

Pepper: I... I am not really a good guy. My secret title is Lord Pepper. Andross, McBeth, Gawz, and Meze know already. I just HAD to tell someone else to get it off my chest.

Mawto: So you're our real lord?

Pepper: No I'm not your lord. Andross is your emperor, I'm just in full command of the Venomian army.

Mawto: So is that it? Can I go destroy stuff now?

Pepper: Of course. I'll be in my airship outside Meteo if you need me.

Mawto: Alright. Later, General.

So Pepper left Mawto to go to space, and Mawto took the Attack Carrier, preparing to go destroy Corneria city. When he arrived, however, he noticed Star Fox going through Corneria destroying all of their robots and troops. He decided to go over to the secret area behind the waterfall in order to ambush them there.

Fox: Falco, you almost got taken down! Be more careful.

Falco: Hey, man, worry about yourself.

Fox: Whatever.

They went over the Northern ocean and were heading into the mountains where Gran was, when Falco noticed the Attack Carrier flying overhead. He told fox to go ahead and take out Gran, and brought Peppy with him to fight Mawto.

Fox: I see the enemy ahead!

Slippy: Data analysis complete... this guy is WEAK!

Gran: So... this is Star Fox? I'm going to crush you!

Fox: You look just like those droids we destroyed coming over here!

Gran: Well I designed all the droids there. I wasn't very creative.

Fox and Slippy, took out both of his arms, then took out his legs, stopping him from moving around.

Gran: No!!

Fox: That was so easy!

Slippy: Fox! Take out thee energy pack on his back!

Fox: Got it!

Fox fired a few lasers at the pack, and sent a bomb at it, destroying it.

Gran: Ahh! N-No!!! MY EMPEROR! I FAILED YOU!!!

Granga exploded, killing Gran. Fox and Slippy pulled away and went to join Falco in fighting Mawto. They met up just as Mawto was coming down.

Mawto: So, someone wants to play?

Falco: Play? We want to fight!

Peppy: The enemy is coming from behind! Drop altitude!

Mawto brought the Attack Carrier in, and began firing bullets at Star fox from one side and missiles form the other. Fox first went for the guns, destroying them. Then he went for the launchers on the right side, destroying both of them. Mawto retreated after the launchers were destroyed, and opened up the front part of the ship, revealing another set of guns. He fired desperately, only for his guns to once again be destroyed by fox.

Mawto: Aggh! W-Who are you guys??

Fox: We're Star Fox!

Mawto: S-so YOU'RE Star Fox? You guys killed Gran!

Falco: Thats enough out of you, you filthy ape!

Falco launched a bomb into the opening in the attack carrier, blowing it up.

Mawto: YOU'LL NEVER DEFEAT ANDROSS!!!!!

The Attack Carrier blew up, killing Mawto in the process.

Fox: Well, thats 2 apes down.

Falco: That felt GREAT!

Peppy: Guys, the General said there are problems on Fortuna, we need to go there immediately.

Fox: Right, we'll go through the Asteroid Belt, Meteo.

While the team headed out, Andross received the news about Mawto and Gran.

Andross: They... they KILLED them? Thats it, they've gone too far this time. Where are they going next?

Kamen: Well, they're going to Fortuna to check out whats going on there.

Andross: Tell Gonchy to cut them off at Meteo. I don't expect him to fail, hes far more skilled than Gran and Mawto were.

Kamen: Yes sir.
